A large number of citizens jogged on the Vardar riverside last October, but they also carried bags for collecting plastic bottles and other garbage that were scattered on the trail. They answered the call and joined the employees of Skopje Marriott Hotel, which in cooperation with the Swedish Embassy in Skopje organized the first Plogging event in Macedonia – a world-renowned jogging and garbage collection action. From the Stone Bridge, participants in the event ran 2.1 kilometers along the riverside trail and, in addition to their training, did something environmentally beneficial.
