Former Prime Minister of Nepal, Madhav Kumar Nepal delivered an honorary lecture at the International Balkan University on the subject “The Future of the World: Green and Smart” where he spoke to the audience about the biggest challenge facing mankind – Climate Change. He stressed that “Earth is our common habitat and that to save it, the greatest sacrifice is needed by nations which produce large amounts of carbon”. According to him, the solution to this problem is of course economic and that is why it is very important for the model of economic development to change because we need to think about people and their happiness.
