The company was awarded for innovations it puts on the market as it continues its full business transformation to provide a smoke-free future and replace better cigarette alternatives for those adults who would otherwise continue to smoke. The leader in innovation is IQOS, a device that heats rather than burning tobacco, thereby eliminating smoke and releasing about 95% less harmful ingredients while providing the required experience for adult smokers who cannot or do not want to give up from smoking. In doing so, IQOS is the first, but not the only product in the portfolio of PMI products with lower risk.
